Einer der schwersten fliegenden V\u00f6gel<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Dieser sehr gro\u00dfe Vogel \u00e4hnelt stark seinem Verwandten, dem Krauskopfpelikans. Der Wei\u00dfpelikan unterscheidet sich jedoch durch sein wei\u00dfes Gefieder, dessen schwarze Schwungfedern im Flug sichtbar sind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

W\u00e4hrend der Brutzeit f\u00e4rbt er sich rosa. Trotz seines Gewichts von 12 Kilogramm verf\u00fcgt er \u00fcber hervorragende Flugf\u00e4higkeiten: Er ist insbesondere ein ausgezeichneter Gleiter und sehr anmutig anzusehen.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

Seine Fangtechnik ist sehr originell: Er ist n\u00e4mlich ein Meister des gemeinschaftlichen Fischfangs. Zahlreiche Pelikane schwimmen Seite an Seite und n\u00e4hern sich dem Ufer, wobei sie die Fische, die sie fangen, mit ihrem Schnabelbeutel zur\u00fccktreiben.
