Unser Rudel kanadischer W\u00f6lfe<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Im Jahr 2020 kamen sieben kanadische W\u00f6lfe aus dem Givskud Zoo in D\u00e4nemark im Parc Sainte-Croix an. Mit der Ankunft dieses neuen Wolfsrudels aus Westkanada festigt der Tierpark seine Position als europ\u00e4ische Referenz in Sachen Pr\u00e4sentation und Vermittlung von Wissen \u00fcber dieses mythische Tier.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

Eines der Merkmale dieser Unterart ist die gro\u00dfe Farbvielfalt. Es gibt schwarze oder wei\u00dfe, graue oder gelbliche Exemplare, sogar innerhalb ein und desselben Wurfs. Melanismus ist bei W\u00f6lfen in Eurasien eher selten, w\u00e4hrend W\u00f6lfe in Kanada h\u00e4ufiger schwarz sind. Die Unterart Canis lupus occidentalis umfasst mehrere ehemalige Unterarten wie die Mackenzie-W\u00f6lfe (Canis lupus mackenzii) oder sogar die Tundra-W\u00f6lfe (Canis lupus tundrarum). Seit ihrer Wiederansiedlung im Yellowstone-Nationalpark hat das \u00d6kosystem sein Gleichgewicht wiedergefunden, wodurch insbesondere verschwundene Arten zur\u00fcckkehren konnten.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/section>\n\n
