La ch\u00e8vre Lorraine est une race particuli\u00e8rement r\u00e9sistante, adapt\u00e9e aux conditions rurales de la r\u00e9gion. Elle se nourrit principalement d’herbe, mais peut aussi se r\u00e9galer de feuillage et de petites plantes.
