Un oiseau royal venu d\u2019Orient<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Le paon bleu est l\u2019un des oiseaux les plus reconnaissables au monde gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa magnifique tra\u00eene color\u00e9e. Originaire du sous-continent indien, il est depuis longtemps associ\u00e9 \u00e0 la majest\u00e9, \u00e0 la beaut\u00e9 et \u00e0 la royaut\u00e9. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 introduit en Europe d\u00e8s l\u2019Antiquit\u00e9, o\u00f9 il d\u00e9corait les jardins des riches palais. Chez le paon, le m\u00e2le est bien plus spectaculaire que la femelle. Sa tra\u00eene, souvent appel\u00e9e \u00e0 tort \u00ab\u00a0queue\u00a0\u00bb est constitu\u00e9e de longues plumes orn\u00e9es d\u2019ocelles, ces c\u00e9l\u00e8bres motifs en forme d\u2019\u0153il. Il peut la d\u00e9ployer en \u00e9ventail pour s\u00e9duire les femelles ou impressionner ses rivaux. En revanche, la femelle, appel\u00e9e paonne, est de couleur brun\u00e2tre et plus discr\u00e8te. Cette diff\u00e9rence de plumage s\u2019appelle le dimorphisme sexuel.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/section>\n\n

M\u00eame s\u2019il passe la plupart de son temps au sol, le paon est capable de voler sur de courtes distances. Il s\u2019envole pour se percher en hauteur, notamment pour dormir \u00e0 l\u2019abri des pr\u00e9dateurs. Le paon est un omnivore opportuniste. Il se nourrit principalement de graines, fruits, feuilles, mais compl\u00e8te son menu avec de petits animaux : insectes, vers, voire de petits reptiles. Dans notre m\u00e9tier il n\u2019y a pas de routine, il faut savoir s\u2019adapter \u00e0 tous types de situations et pouvoir r\u00e9agir rapidement. On s\u2019occupe des espaces d\u00e9di\u00e9s aux animaux et on cherche vraiment \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer leur environnement direct, \u00e0 recr\u00e9er l\u2019habitat le plus proche de celui d\u2019o\u00f9 ils viennent, c\u2019est tr\u00e8s important.<\/p>\n <\/blockquote>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n
