Un des plus lourds oiseaux volants<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ce tr\u00e8s gros oiseau ressemble beaucoup \u00e0 son cousin, le p\u00e9lican fris\u00e9. Le p\u00e9lican blanc en diff\u00e8re cependant par son plumage blanc, avec des remigres noires visibles en vol. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il devient rose en p\u00e9riode de reproduction. Malgr\u00e9 ses 12 kilos, il fait preuve de tr\u00e8s grandes qualit\u00e9s de vol : c\u2019est notamment un tr\u00e8s grand planeur et il est tr\u00e8s gracieux \u00e0 observer.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

Sa technique de p\u00eache est tr\u00e8s originale : en effet il est adepte de la p\u00eache collective. De nombreux p\u00e9licans nagent c\u00f4te \u00e0 c\u00f4te et se rapprochent de la rive, en refoulant les poissons qu\u2019ils capturent avec la poche de leur bec. Cette derni\u00e8re peut contenir jusqu\u2019\u00e0 13 litres d\u2019eau et peut stocker jusqu\u2019\u00e0 4 kg de poisson.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/section>\n\n

Dans notre m\u00e9tier il n\u2019y a pas de routine, il faut savoir s\u2019adapter \u00e0 tous types de situations et pouvoir r\u00e9agir rapidement. On s\u2019occupe des espaces d\u00e9di\u00e9s aux animaux et on cherche vraiment \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer leur environnement direct, \u00e0 recr\u00e9er l\u2019habitat le plus proche de celui d\u2019o\u00f9 ils viennent, c\u2019est tr\u00e8s important.<\/p>\n <\/blockquote>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n
