Son bec est un d\u00e9tecteur de proies<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

La spatule blanche vit proche des \u00e9tendues d\u2019eau clair et peu profondes : zones humides c\u00f4ti\u00e8res, marais \u00e0 vastes roseli\u00e8res avec broussailles et arbres ou rivi\u00e8res limoneuses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour se nourrir, elle se d\u00e9place le bec enfonc\u00e9 dans l\u2019eau, la t\u00eate effectuant un mouvement de balayage lat\u00e9ral. L\u2019extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 large de son bec est tr\u00e8s sensible et lui permet de d\u00e9tecter plus facilement ses proies. Les spatules blanches se nourrissent en petits groupes, ce qui rend leur p\u00eache plus efficace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

C\u2019est un oiseau migrateur qui niche en colonie sur les arbres ou dans les roseaux.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

En Europe, on d\u00e9nombre environ 6000 couples. Pendant la p\u00e9riode de reproduction, les adultes se voient parer d\u2019une coloration jaune orang\u00e9e sur la gorge et d\u2019une huppe en crini\u00e8re jaune p\u00e2le. En France, 50 couples se sont install\u00e9s depuis une vingtaine d\u2019ann\u00e9es en Loire-Atlantique et depuis peu, quelques autres dans les Landes.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/section>\n\n

Dans notre m\u00e9tier il n\u2019y a pas de routine, il faut savoir s\u2019adapter \u00e0 tous types de situations et pouvoir r\u00e9agir rapidement. On s\u2019occupe des espaces d\u00e9di\u00e9s aux animaux et on cherche vraiment \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer leur environnement direct, \u00e0 recr\u00e9er l\u2019habitat le plus proche de celui d\u2019o\u00f9 ils viennent, c\u2019est tr\u00e8s important.<\/p>\n <\/blockquote>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n
