Le renard de feu de l\u2019Himalaya<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Contrairement aux primates, le panda roux n\u2019a pas de pouce opposable. Mais, tout comme le panda g\u00e9ant, il poss\u00e8de dans son poignet un os modifi\u00e9 qui agit comme un pouce. Ce \u00ab sixi\u00e8me doigt \u00bb lui permet de tenir plus facilement les tiges de bambou entre ses pattes avant. Ses griffes semi-r\u00e9tractiles et ses poils sous les pattes lui permettent de bien grimper dans les arbres et de ne pas glisser sur des branches humides ou sur la glace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Solitaire, il ne vit en couple qu\u2019en saison de reproduction. Les accouplements ont lieu au printemps entre les mois d\u2019avril et de juin. Les jeunes restent avec leur m\u00e8re jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge d\u2019un an. Animal cr\u00e9pusculaire, il se repose souvent sur les branches en balan\u00e7ant ses pattes dans le vide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Actuellement, le panda roux conna\u00eet une r\u00e9duction importante de son habitat \u00e0 cause de la d\u00e9forestation, du d\u00e9veloppement des zones d\u2019urbanisation et du braconnage. L\u2019animal est class\u00e9 \u00ab en danger \u00bb sur la liste rouge des esp\u00e8ces (IUCN) ; il resterait entre 2 500 et 10 000 pandas roux dans la nature.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/section>\n\n

Dans notre m\u00e9tier il n\u2019y a pas de routine, il faut savoir s\u2019adapter \u00e0 tous types de situations et pouvoir r\u00e9agir rapidement. On s\u2019occupe des espaces d\u00e9di\u00e9s aux animaux et on cherche vraiment \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer leur environnement direct, \u00e0 recr\u00e9er l\u2019habitat le plus proche de celui d\u2019o\u00f9 ils viennent, c\u2019est tr\u00e8s important.<\/p>\n <\/blockquote>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n
